About Jenny
Jenny has extensive experience working with children. She has taught math, piano, science, dance, and figure skating with universal acclaim. As a native Mandarin speaker born in Beijing, China, Jenny also enjoys teaching the beautiful Chinese language and culture to her students.
As a first time mother, Jenny understands the difficulty in keeping children engaged and challenged at all times. She constantly looks for ways to nurture a child's curiosity and creativity while providing a stimulating, playful learning experience.
Engineering
Jenny He graduated from The Cooper Union for the Advancement in Science and Art (on a full tuition scholarship) with B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering. She also pursued her M.S. degree in Columbia University. Jenny got a perfect score on SAT Math and numerous awards in science and math competitions. She has extensive experience in math tutoring.
Piano and Dance
Jenny has been a professional teaching artist for over 10 years.
As a concert pianist, she began studying piano at the age of 3 and has performed at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. Jenny founded NYCgirlsDance to raise women's confidence through dance. As a choreographer, she worked with numerous Asian pop stars for live concerts at venues such as Playstation Theater on Broadway.
